The Erindale Campus African Students Association (ECASA) is a student-run organization at the University of Toronto Mississauga with the aim of representing students of African descent by raising cultural, social, political and intellectual awareness and catering to anyone with an interest in African affairs, irrespective of background.

Over the past 10 years, ECASA has reinforced it’s vision by showcasing the richness of the African Culture via multi-award events and African-oriented shows filled with theatre, fashion shows, dance recitals, song renditions and spoken word pieces.

Moving forward, ECASA will be adding a twist to its norm this year in putting out the maiden edition of “THE MOVEMENT” -an Afrocentric dance competition amongst various groups from the GTA and beyond.
